In Star Trek, Data in the Next Generation series was well liked because he was a good character, whereas SAM in Starfleet Academy is panned because she's not a good character. Audiences don't dislike shows and movies with holograms and androids and other AI characters because computers are taking our jobs, they dislike bad shows and movies because they're bad.
The Post-Disney Star Wars movies are objectively less well received than the originals, but Alan Tudyk's K-2SO was probably the only well-liked character in Rogue One, whereas C-3PO was one of the most disliked characters in the original movie.
Unlike shows and movies, advertisements are something people avoid, not seek out. The most success an advertisement can have is for people to discuss it, for any reason. Creating annoying recurring characters or using new technology poorly works great for advertisers, and always has, but that has no bearing on what media people seek out.

I don't notice any AI generated content on Netflix. Therefore, I don't think AI has any effect on Hollywood.
If anything, we'll get much better CGI with GenAI.
You don't notice it, therefore nobody else does? That's a pretty easy survey to take.
On Netflix, can you point to me where it was obviously AI (and not CGI)?
