If you're going to be deploying a production-grade application to AWS, are you paying for business support? That's where I'd start.
Are you wholly dependent on AWS tech for your app, or can it be deployed to a different cloud provider?
Do you mean business support could give us better access? We're already communicating with support. Frontend, backend, backups etc are on AWS. Yes, in hindsight we'd do it differently.
My experience when I didn't have business support was that it could take multiple days to get a response to support cases I'd put in.
When I was working on a customer account that had business support, I'd get a response (and often, a resolution) the same day. YMMV.
